Good morning! I though I would add a little color to add cheer to everyone's day!
I MISS all of you a great deal! I wish we could have said more good byes Friday when we were leaving, but at that point, we thought we would be back and ready to fill the classroom again in 2 weeks. Please keep in touch with each other and reach out to those of your classmates you may not have heard from. Let's try to get in touch with everyone of our homeroom classmates.
4th grade teachers, and NSSD, are working on a wonderful plan to keep all of your brains as sharp as tacks (idiom, simile). Please be sure to check back on Monday March 30, 2020 for some exciting information! Remember we are working as a team. We may make mistakes, but that's okay because mistakes help us learn.
Students (and parents), if you want to say hello or share with me how you are doing or what you are doing, or you have questions about what is going on, you can certainly send me an email kherring@northschuylkill.net. I would love to hear from you. (Students, please get permission from your parents first.)
Looking ahead, when we return, we will certainly celebrate any missed birthdays. There are many of you that earned a treat for participating in the alcohol and drug awareness, too. We have so much to look forward too!
Parents and students, stay tuned on Monday for exciting news, suggested activities, websites, and who knows what else is in store! Please share with all of your 4th grade friends to check all of the students' teachers' homework helplines weekly from now until we return to the building.
Remember to maintain social distancing. Stay safe. Wash, wash, wash your hands. Keep active by exercising. Eat healthy! Get a good night's sleep.
MISS EVERYONE,
Mrs. Herring
