Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! I will be teaching your child ELA (reading, grammar, spelling). I will try to follow the homework helpline assignments as best I can. As always, there may be some unforseeable events. Please keep in mind we need to have an open line of communication for you the student/parent to have a great year. Looking forward to a great school year!!

Thursday August 31, 2017

North Schuylkill School District is helping the victims of Hurricane Harvey.  Tomorrow, Friday September 1st will be a paid dress down day $1.00.  Students may dress down for $1.00 and all proceeds will go to the victims in Houston.

Tomorrow's football game will donate half of the admissions to Hurricane Harvey as well!

Students did a great job this week!  We are moving well between classes and getting familiar with each other and the great changes that have taken place.

School will resume on Tuesday September 5th.  It will be day 6, art.

Have a great weekend!

Welcome Back August 28, 2017

WELCOME!!  We are going to have a great school year!  Please be patient; there are a few changes that have been made that are a work in progress.

Hopefully everyone is well rested and ready to get back to working hard and having fun while learning!

This week's homework is for parents and supporters.  Please complete important papers and return as soon as possible!  It is important to read the student handbook.  If you want to file for free or reduced lunch, the form can be found online.  If you want a paper copy, please have your child ask me for a form.

There are 31 students in the classroom for those of you that like to send treats in or are planning ahead for special occasions.

Please remember to check all of your child's teachers' blogs.  I will only have homeroom information and ELA information posted on my blog.

Have a great week at home catching up on everything you didn't get done during the summertime!
