Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! I will be teaching your child ELA (reading, grammar, spelling, writing). I will try to follow the homework helpline assignments as best I can. As always, there may be some unforeseeable events. Please keep in mind we need to have an open line of communication for you the student/parent to have a great year.

Updates to the end of December

Tomorrow, Friday December 13, 4th grade will be going to the symphony.  It is a paid dress down day, but we are asking students to not wear sweatpants...jeans or dress code bottoms please.  As for tops, holiday top, Spartan top, dress code top.  Keep the Santa hats and reindeer antlers home please.  We will be leaving the school at 9, which means we are boarding the bus at 855.  Please do not be late; you will sit in another grade level's classroom.  We will be back for lunch.  No money is needed for the symphony; we are only going to Pottsville. Monday and Wednesday students will have a regularly scheduled day. Tuesday we will be going over to the high school to see the hs band and chorus perform.  Our lunch will be 1240, so please be sure your child eats a big breakfast.  There will be no snack time. Thursday we will be celebrating our Positive Behavior by watching a movie and having a cookie.  Children have the opportunity to purchase a drink with their reward tickets. F
